Qualification

• B.E. / M.E. Mechanical Engineering
• Specialization in Design / Structural / Computational Mechanics preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for static equipment and mechanical components
• Conduct linear and non-linear structural analysis for pressure vessels, supports, skids, and related systems
• Preparation and review of analysis reports and technical documentation
• Work closely with design engineers to optimize equipment designs
• Evaluate stresses, deformation, fatigue, thermal effects, and load combinations
• Support troubleshooting and design validation during project execution
• Coordinate with clients and internal engineering teams for technical discussions

Skills Required

• Experience with FEA software such as ANSYS / Abaqus / similar platforms
• Understanding of ASME design philosophy and stress evaluation concepts
• Knowledge of pressure vessel and structural analysis
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process inputs
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to thermal and fatigue analysis
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 2 stress analysis concepts
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Energy / Process industry projects
